Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell (born on 25th August 1949) is an American TV chef who is a popular personality. She was also an instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. Anne W. Burrell is the host on Secrets of a Restaurant Chef for the Food Network, as well as co-hosting Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network star with her trademark long, blonde hair with a exuberant personality, shares easy techniques to master and reduces the fear of eating at restaurants in her series Secrets of a Restaurant. Burrell is a chef who has been in the kitchen for a long time. Burrell is also a veteran of New York City's best restaurants. Additionally, she has learned about Italy's food traditions and culture, along with the natural environment. While growing up in New York's Upstate region, Burrell became passionate about food and cooking. The Culinary Institute of America was the next stage for her following her graduation with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communication from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was a fantastic experience. Culinary Institute of America was an excellent opportunity to pursue a degree. Following her graduation, Chef Burrell was able to spend a full period of time in Italy attending Italy's Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners while working at La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria and La Bottega del 30 a one-Michelin-starred restaurant in Tuscany. During her time in Italy she grew to truly be aware of the philosophy behind Italian cuisine and culture which left a lasting impact on her culinary point of view. Burrell was an Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board participant, with the goal of to increase the lives of kids who are facing difficulties. Burrell also serves as a Juvenile Disease Research Foundation celebrity ambassador, and is a vocal advocate for awareness of childhood diabetes. As a guest speaker and mentor she travels across the United States to discuss her love for cooking and profession. Anne has stated throughout her culinary career that she feels so fortunate to share with others what is most important to her.
